Thursday! Excursion to Salinas de Añana!!!There, we had the opportunity to learn how the salt is extracted from the water, apart from many other different facts of the Salty valley. Did you know that long time ago all the valley was a sea? And did you know that nowadays, there are some natural springs from where the salty water come out to the surface? Then, they just have to wait until the water evaporates and......get the salt!

Osteguna! Gesaltzara irteera!!!Han, gauza asko ikasteko aukera izan dugu. Ba zenekiten beste garai batean bailara osoa itsasoa zela? Eta ba al dakizue gaur egun, ur azpitik datozen iturri desberdinak daudela ur gaziarekin? Añanako gesaltzan egin behar duten gauza bakarra gatza uratik banatzea da, eguzkiaren laguntzarekin, noski! Hori gertatutakoan, gatza lortzen da!

Jueves! Excursión a Salinas de Añana!!!Allí, hemos tenido oportunidad de aprender sobre diferentes cosas. Por ejemplo, ¿sabíais que hace muchísimos años todo el valle era mar?, y ¿sabíais que hoy en día este valle tiene diferentes manantiales de agua salada, y lo que se hace en salinas es separar la sal del agua? Con ayuda del sol, y de mucho trabajo consiguen separar la sal del agua para obtener así una de las mejores sales del mundo: la sal de Salinas de Añana!
